Giving Opportunities at Digital Transformation Academy
While in Las Vegas, you will have the opportunity to interact with and support local Las Vegas charities in addition to providing donations for Hurricane & Disaster Relief through the American Red Cross.
The following charities will be onsite to talk about their causes and accept mobile donations. All time or money donations made through the Mobile Giving Site - via the short URLs provided below - will be matched by Microsoft:

Professional Head Shots: Donating to any charity earns you the opportunity to update your professional photo onsite at a designated location at DTA at no additional charge; just show proof of your $25 or more donation.
Give Blood: Your Giving Team has also arranged for United Blood Services to be onsite to accept blood donations during the event.
Location: The Blood Mobile will be in front of Top Golf at the entrance of the North Side of the Convention Center.

Hands-on support: During the Tuesday evening reception, you will also have a very special micro-volunteering opportunity to assemble hygiene kits for the community of nearly 6,000 homeless youth in Clark County, Nevada through Project 150.

The Microsoft Digital Transformation Academy is an invitation-only event and training. Microsoft employees and Partner attendees must receive an invitation to register and be approved to attend. Invitations are non-transferable.
Onsite Conference Check-In
The Digital Transformation Academy Event Check-in Desk will be located at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, Grand Garden Arena Foyer.
Please be sure that you have a form of positive identification, such as the following:
- Driver's License or State Identification Card (with photograph)
- Valid Passport
- Government Issued Identification Card
- Microsoft Cardkey
Note: At least one of these items must include an official photograph.

Registration Cancellations/No Shows
Attendance is mandatory for all event invitees. Exemption requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis. If you need to discuss your participation requirements and/or cancel, we request you do so by October 20, 2017, 11:59pm Pacific Time. Should you need to make any changes, you may do so by returning to your registration.
Business Casual is suggested for all sessions and meetings. Keep in mind, while it will be warm outside, meeting areas are temperature controlled. Dress in layers and/or appropriate for your own comfort.

What is provided during the Digital Transformation Academy?
Individuals are responsible for booking their own air travel, airport transfers, hotel accommodations, and incidental hotel expenses.

Meals will be located in the Marquee Ballroom, Grand Foyer and the Premier Foyer each day.
Note: Specialty Meals, if requested during the registration process, will be available in the Marquee Ballroom in the Specialty Meals Area.
Specialty Meals include the following: Celiac, Halal, Indian, Kosher, and Vegan. Vegetarian meals will be served from the main buffet. You must present your DTA badge to receive a specialty meal. Only attendees who requested special dietary meals during the online registration process prior to the start of DTA will be accommodated.
Expense Report Policy
When filling out your expense report, please note that the Digital Transformation Academy covers most meal expenses. These expenses should not be noted in your expense report. You will bill your expenses to your own cost center which you can get from your manager. Reimbursements are to be made via http://msexpense2/. Please title all expense reports with Digital Transformation Academy to ensure appropriate tracking. Your manager can provide more details on the expense reimbursement process.
Partner Connection Hub
The Partner Connection Hub brings over 100 Microsoft partner companies together to interact with Microsoft employees. Employees will be able to connect with Partners to build momentum on existing and new accounts and drive success with Partners, side-by-side, while growing the pipeline, meeting readiness goals and interacting with stakeholders across the company.
In addition to the Partner Expo area, the Connection Hub houses the Sponsor Lounge as well as the Giving Space.

Top 5 Partner FAQs
Q: Are AE's required to have 3 meetings for the entire event or per day?
A: AEs/PDMs are required to conduct a minimum of 3 meetings over the duration of the event.
Q: Is there a meeting minimum for non-AEs?
A: There is not a minimum number of meetings required for non-AEs/non-PDMs though it is encouraged to attend meetings and sessions with their AEs/PDMs. AEs/PDMs will get extra rewards points for including their team in meetings with the Partner.
Q: How do I see a list of partners or find out more information about a partner?
A: The Partner Connect Booking Tool is your source for partner information. You can see a list of all partners attending, filter the list to find partners of interest and see profile information about each partner.
Q: How do I figure out which partners I should meet with? Do I have to accept all the meeting requests I receive?
A: Use the Partner Connect Booking Tool filter feature to look for partners aligned to specific industries, locations or solution areas. You may also want to talk to your local channel manager to get their suggestions. You are strongly encouraged to accept requested meetings, as long as they align to your schedule. Please adjust your availability in the Partner Connect Booking Tool to make sure it accurately reflects your schedule.
Q: How do I know if someone is a partner?
A: Partner badges will have a PURPLE stripe at the bottom. Please make a point of looking for the PURPLE stripe badges and connecting with partners informally during sessions and throughout the event.

- Whenever possible, don't bring valuable items to the conference or leave them unattended. Utilize the safes or lock-boxes provided at many hotels.
- Immediately report any suspicious behavior to a security officer or event staff member.
